Dual and quad detectors for NDIR gas measurement

The pyroelectric detectors utilise sensitive elements of MEMS technology. The front electrode is optically transparent so that the infrared radiation is absorbed by the active surface in a broad spectrum of 2 - 15 µm. The absorbed infrared radiation forms a temperature difference and is converted into a measurable electrical charge due to the pyroelectric properties of the sensor material.
