Description

The narrow band IR filters of the MPS4SENS 3C-2 carbon dioxide enhance the measurement of carbon monoxide (CO) (CWL: 4650 ± 40, HBW: 180 ± 20 nm), carbon dioxide (CO2) (CWL: 4415 ± 30, HBW: 60 ± 10 nm) and carbon compounds (CWL: 3400 ± 20, HBW: 140 ± 20 nm) with reference channel (CWL: 3910 ± 28, HBW: 70 ± 10 nm). The detector covers a wide range of applications in aerospace, medical, industry and environmental technology at ambient temperatures between -20 and 85 °C.

Only Micro-Hybrid develops and manufactures 4-channel pyroelectric detectors with a thin film membrane made of ceramic pyroelectric material in a TO39 package. This high performance material gives the detector a very high detectivity of up to 4.0*108 cm√Hz/W and a high sensitivity of up to 200000 V/W. The unique detector design of Micro-Hybrid enables the high read-out rate up to 100 Hz as well as the short response time for reliable measurement results in NDIR gas analysis.
Other important product features: wide spectral sensitivity 2 - 15 µm (optimized from 3 - 5 µm), high sensitivity with a modulation frequency of up to 100 Hz, low microphone effect due to low membrane mass, very low temperature dependence, amplified signal in current mode.
