Description

This 2 channel pyrodetector is optimally tuned for the measurement of hydrocarbons (CxHy) by the narrow band infrared filter with a CWL of 3400 ± 20 nm and a HBW of 140 ± 20 nm as well as an additional reference channel (CWL: 3910 ± 28, HBW: 70 ± 10 nm). The detectivity of up to 2.0*108 cm√Hz/W as well as the sensitivity of up to 120000 V/W guarantee reliable measurements.

The pyroelectric detector is suitable for various applications in gas measurement and gas analysis in diverse industries such as agricultural engineering, industrial extraction of raw materials and resources, and environmental and energy engineering.

Two detector chips with a ferroelectric lithium tantalate layer form the core for this 2-channel pyroelectric detector. The low microphone effect due to compensation in the circuit, the low temperature dependence as well as an amplified signal in current mode optimize the measurement signals of the dual IR detector.
