Description

CO₂ incubators must ensure stable, reproducible growth conditions for cell cultures-while keeping the risk of contamination as low as possible. This is exactly what this CO₂ sensor with infrared technology (NDIR) is designed for: it measures reliably under real atmospheric conditions inside the incubator and supports fast, precise CO₂ and temperature control for stable process management.

For everyday lab use, the sensor is designed for easy cleaning and reliable contamination protection. Application-specific core components and electronic modules are manufactured in-house and subjected to strict quality controls-for maximum service life and high delivery reliability.

The sensor integrates seamlessly into modern hygiene concepts for incubators: for optimal hygiene, the interior of INmplus and IFmplus incubators-including all installed components and all sensors-can be sterilized in a 4-hour program at +160 °C; in addition, full steam sterilization of the entire interior is possible.

The result: fast-responding NDIR CO₂ measurement for reliable atmosphere control-even in systems with advanced control concepts, e.g. O₂ control ranges from 1 to 21% (hypoxic) and 5 to 90% (hyperoxic).
