Description

The thermoelectric dual detector is designed for the measurement of carbon monoxide. The optical filter is optimized for CO with a CWL of 4650 ± 40 nm and a HBW of 180 ± 20 nm. Typical applications of the MTS2SENS44 carbon monoxide are medical technology (including metabolic monitoring, spirometry), industrial process analysis, biotechnology, food technology or room air analysis.

The dual-channel thermopile works at ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to 85 °C. It offers a detectivity of up to 1.61*108 cm√Hz/W and sensitivity of up to 39 V/W at a very good price/performance ratio. The integrated thermistor for reference temperature determination and an additional reference channel (CWL: 3910 ± 28, HBW: 70 ± 10 nm) complete the product.

The detector uses 2 chips, each with 44 silicon thermocouples, as its technological basis. Thermal diffusion currents between the two different metals generate an electrical voltage (Seebeck effect) - the measurement signal.

An overview of all technical information you may find in our data sheet. Our sales team will be happy to advise you on price scales for high quantities and on customer-specific modifications.
