Description
The MicroSENS 140-HS CO2 gas sensor offers a reliable solution for measuring 5 vol% CO2 in cell incubators. The sensor head is mounted directly in the incubation chamber. The diffusion sensor measures the CO2 concentration and enables optimal conditions for the growth of cell and tissue cultures. Based on the IR absorption of the gas molecules present, the sensor precisely determines the CO2 concentration in the incubator chamber.
With its IR dual-beam method, the CO2 gas sensor enables stable and reliable measurements. It has an impressive service life, enabling the highest number of sterilization cycles of any gas sensor currently available. Sterilization with hot air at typically 140 °C ensures simple and safe decontamination and minimizes maintenance. The sensor head is not removed during sterilization. It remains in the incubator chamber due to its heat resistance. The CO2 measuring channel is also sterilized. This ensures reliable contamination protection and safe operation of the incubator.
The CO2 sensor is both temperature and pressure compensated. It also has humidity compensation for precise measurement results.
A digital interface ensures easy integration into your existing system infrastructure. In addition, the identical feed-through in the incubator rear panel for all MicroSENS sensors minimizes integration and replacement costs.
Thanks to our 5-point calibration, the NDIR CO2 sensor has a significantly improved linearity compared to conventionally calibrated 3-point sensors. This results in more precise CO2 measurements not only at the usual 5 vol. %, but over the entire measuring range.
The use of heat-resistant components significantly reduces the damaging effect of high temperatures on service life. We use high-quality core components and electronic modules from our own production. This means you can rely on high reliability and quality in the supply chain. Our materials are subject to the strictest quality controls to ensure optimum gas sensor service life and excellent delivery reliability.
You will find an overview of all the technical information in the data sheet. Benefit from the advantages of precise and reliable CO2 measurement, uncomplicated operation and low maintenance costs.
The standard version is available from stock.
The sensor head can be customized on request.
